WARNING: Hotel ATM Check Your Acct

Warning to anybody who tried to use the hotel ATM and got the "processing error". I tried to use the hotel ATM friday and did NOT receive any money. I kept getting processor error try again later. Well today I am checking my account so I can pay bills, guess what got taken out of my account! The money I kept getting denied due to processor error! I have to dispute it, which I've already done, but it's going to take up to two weeks before I get my money back. Luckily, I had my receipts that showed I did not get money, so I hope it resolves easily.

If you tried to use the ATM, check your account you might be missing the money you never got!

That happenend to John(E1) also. We were telling people not to use it if anyone asked..

Did the hotel know? The clerk kept telling me to retry it because the phone messed up the ATM. I guess I should be lucky it didn't take it out more then once!

:facepalm: If I had known this was going on I would have said something, but not being directly involved, not having tried to use the ATM and not knowing what the issue was, I didn't, however, I do remember Tiffany (MrsBadazzcougar) going to the front desk to complain about getting a flat pop out of the machine, coming back and saying something along the lines of "I guess they've had a lot of problems with that and the ATM machine . . . "

I used it with no issue luckily but im still going to check my account to make sure it didnt overcharge me.

What time did you check out on your final night?
The one kick ass thing we noticed in 2004 about that hotel is that our last night there, we left at like 2-3 am. They didn't charge us for that last night, even though we did sleep in the bed that night and everything. :cool:

I typed a reply to this about 12 hours ago but the site went down before it posted. :(

Anyway. I used that ATM and got the error, but no withdrawal is showing on my account. Are you sure it wasn't a hold instead of an actual withdrawal? (Sort of like when you pay-at-the-pump for gas they put a hold on the credit card for a max amount, then remove it and charge you the actual amount...)

I tried using it about three times, with the same error (The guy at the front desk told me that if I tried a few times it might work).... But just checked Bank of America and nothing so far....
