Hey how did you guys wire this up? And what do you think of those neon wire things. They are like neons but they are flexible... Any suggestions would be great cause mine look ok but I want a more proffesional look to the whole thing.

P.S. I want neons under my dash, under front seats, back seat area and truck, possibly hood too hey I might as well go crazy you know!

This is an easy one. Nola has neon under his dash and passanger kick panels. All he did was wire them to the fuse block and place a toggle switch in the middle to turn them on and off.

I will get pics next time I am over his house.

Personally if I decide to do it, I am going to get the traction control switch and wire it there so I won't have to worry about finding a place for a toggle switch.

FOR THE INTERIOR--i will one up you guys, i wired all the interior neons to the above head console, so the light switch that turns the overhead light on and off controls it, this way you can also make it turn on and off with the door opening and closing, and i took out the overhead bulb because it killed the effect. also no need to add something to the interior.

FOR THE HOOD--i wired a pressure switch up so it turns on when the hood is up and off when the hood is closed.

FOR THE TRUNK--i wired them into the trunk light, so they turn on with the trunk being open and off when the trunk is closed. once again i took out the stock light for effect.

I wired a power distribution block ($2.99 from radioshack) to my overhead lights. I still haven't figured out wiring to the fuse box.

mprtklr - where did you get a pressure switch and where did you mount the neon?

you can get a pressure switch from radio shack or your local stereo shop, essentially a pressure switch used for alarm systems is what you need.

I have 2 strobe lights under dash, two overhead in back and a lava lamp in the back seat floor. I wired them up and have two lights up switches drilled into my dash. They look great....wired them to the main

Can you post some pics of the lava lamp I think that would be tight as hell!!!!!!!!

thing is about lava lamps is that they are motion so taking a pic wont' really depict how cool they are... you would need a video to really show how cool they work...
