Is it possable to put an old XR7 badge in the stock rear mercury badge location without any modification:confused:
Or any others???

The rear Mercury badge leaves 3 holes in the trunk when you remove it. You need something that is pretty much as tall and as wide as that to cover the holes.

Just what Bennett said, as long as you cover up the 3 holes there, you can fit whatever badge you want... BUT, do us all a favor and do something tasteful, and APPROPRIATE for the Cougar you own! We all are aware that there is nothing about our model Cougars that makes it an XR7 !! Thanks! :)

yeah the 2002 has an xr model but its read and it is no 7:(
