View Full Version : Anybody planning on doing any cosmetic work this weekend?

I'm going to add some stripes to my Cougar this weekend. Start at the tip of the v in the hood and go up then split mid v into two 8 inch stripes down the rest of the car. should look good. i know a lot of you don't like racing stripes but i do.

Ok, so I went ahead and worked on the stripes. I'm not certain but I think that I'll continue them down both bumpers. Here's what I have so far.

Hmmm...it looks like a professional job, but it just seems like something's missing. Maybe wheels? :shrug: Nice job regardless. :thumbsup:

It DEFINITELY needs to be down both bumpers as well...
Do that, and I think you'll get more responses about the pics! ;) but you did a good job on the work though

I like the front bumper WITHOUT stripes; but the rear seems like it needs them. :shrug:

I like hood stripes that are V-shaped, that sort of emphasize the v in the hood. & I agree - front bumper clean looks right, and so does carrying the stripe over the end (rear bumper) of the car...

Now get rid of those orange side markers!:)

yea definitely continue them down the rear bumper and keep the front like it is. Get some smoked sidemarkers and maybe some black rims and it would look amazing. great job on the stripes though, it looks really good.

Cool, I think I agree about the stripes. I have actually been thinking about black wheels. The sidemarkers may come later unless someone has some sitting around that they want to get rid of really cheap (free). ;)
