Cool Picture We found today at work

This was a satellite Image that was taken right after a Georgia Southern Football Game. Now, for those who don't know, which will be about all of you, to find Statesboro on here, look at the GA and SC State line where it meets the ocean, now travel about 45 minutes inland, and that is where you will find statesboro.
Here is a picture from the game, about the only one I can find at the moment.

They played the game in Hurricane Hugo???

Yep they sure did the hugo bowl, and they still talk about it like it was yesterday.

Wow. I have a friend that survived the destruction of her house during Hurricane Hugo, in Charleston, SC (which was hit badly by Hugo) - her father didn't want to evacuate because he thought nothing would happen. Well, something happened - their house was destroyed. She said she remembers watching the chandelier in the dining room smashing back and forth against the ceiling.

Playing football in hurricane weather? Yeah, that's definitely not going to happen today! (I realize this game was likely before the eye hit Georgia, but still.)
