I questioned where to put it but since it's about not going I figured the lounge was the best place for it.
If it needs to be moved, by all means, do so. Thanks! ;)

I am not attending. Which isn't a suprise to me. I never attend. I have owned my car and been a member since July '01 and have yet to attend a fest. This years excuse is, can't waste vacation as I have two weddings to go to that are taking a week of vacation combine in the next two months and I just bought a house 3 weeks ago and have yet to actually have a weekend that I can really buckle down and work on getting everything done that needs to get done on it.

I really really wanted to go.
Unfortunately my Cougar spun a bearing, so I can't afford it.
On top of that three weeks later someone busted out the passenger window in my Contour, and stole my stereo. And then a week later, my glasses broke.
So, $600 + $165 + new stereo + $341 later...
Yeah. Can't afford to go. :)

Needless to say I'm compiling a list of parts I have sitting around for the cougar to make some $$ to get back on track.

she really didn't have a problem with it, she was just really worried and I figured it'd be easier money-wise to just bail on the idea than to have her over my back till i left about all the specifics

Damn it! There's no way out! My uncertainty will cost me $10 more for day-of-show registration, I guess, but that's okay since I won't have hotel expenses.
Is an Echo worse than a Fit in the eyes of Cougar owners? It's probably a toss-up. The Fit is a better car overall, but it IS a Honda, so that's like negative 400 points or something, right?
