OK hi all
right got some questions
No1
as some know my engine set up is a bit different but ..... at the moment i have the 2 breathers coming off the rockers box's linked together then to a little filter is this a good idea or has someone done something different ?
No2
OK at the moment I'm running a stand alone temp gauge as the engine and car gauge dint match but the fan only works when i put it on so thats OK but at what temp should the fan cut in ?
No3
how you all doing ?
thanks all

1) I'm assuming "rockers boxes" are valve covers, sometimes called "cam covers" (We both speak English, but I swear they're different languages... ;) ). Anyway- In the U.S., the valve cover breather tubes need to be piped back to the intake after the MAF but before the TB. Otherwise, it's illegal (venting crankcase vapors to atmosphere).
2) The sensor originally from your car should have gone on to the new engine. Fans in the U.S. cut on at low speed at 220°F, and high speed before 230°F.
3) Contemplative, slightly anxious, still generally in awe over the wonder of having a son, all while wrapped in self-doubt and the overall absurdity of life.
thanks for that .......
and yes rocker covers = valve covers = cam covers = glad well all understand lol
and ref breathing i don't have a maf or any of the environmentally friendly things like cats maf and so on lol so i vent to atmosphere but didn't know if bad to engine lowering cam cover pressure
so me panicking to turn fan on at 204f is abit low lol
thanks again i shall have a look at things tomorrow lol its a funny thing I'm running my st220 engine on the standard car fan ie off the old engine which was a 1.6 lol not a 3l v6

are u running the ecu out of the original mondeo to control the motor? are you have drivability issues with the MAF removed?
i feel sorry for you guys out there with all the emissions and things
OK I'm running a non standard ecu i have a omex710 ecu so i dint need a maf or egr or cam knock sensor
all my engine runs on is crank sensor tps and cold start ........ as said no cats or oxygen sensors
its fuel spark bang lol
simple
at the moment its not the best as still has not been really set up but is 90% there

Tony,
As Dan said, those of us who need to keep emissions-legal plumb the valve-cover breather-lines into the intake after the MAF.
The obvious alternative is to simply vent them to atmosphere using open-element filters that cost $5/each here at any parts store. They look like tiny K&N air filters.
