there really is no set torque. I would tighten it down until you feel the fiberglass "creak" a bit and call it good. (not "crack" tho... that would be bad. lol).

snug, not really really really tight, from what i remember i think its easier to do the fender if the either headlight or bumper is out, i dont remember, or maybe not

i think you have to take the bumper of, not sure about the headlights but you might as well as they have on 3 bolts on each headlight holding in, and i believe the hood has to come off as well to get the 1 bolt off each fender that is connected to the hood latches

NO NO

You dont need to take the hood off. Just take the inner fender out. Take all the bolts off from inside the hood. Take the lower bolt out. There are 2 bolts holding your front bumper to the fender take those out (will most likely break or need to be cut anyway) and there you go.

HINT: when putting on the new fender make sure to open your door and make sure it doesnt catch the fender. You will need to make some adjustments.

Another thing you may want to do is have the car on level ground. It will help align the panels better if I remember correctly, I think I saw it on the Powerblock on Spike tv on one of the shows. I have to take my fenders off sometime in the future because when i took my z3s and kit off my car was on uneven ground and my hood/fender and fender/door gaps are off.

prepare for broken bolts... i think about 3 bolts each fender broke for me when i swapped them, and fiberglass just doesnt tweak like metal :/

Tape off the door edge and the fender edge with 2 layers of masking tape to protect the paint as you align the fenders.
