Like stated previously. The cost of the LCA's will be $400 plus shipping: with or without powdercoating.
50% deposit is required and it will take a minimum of 10 people for me to begin production. I currently have 3 on my shelf currently and those will go to select people if the GB is not met.
The is the list I currently have and please PM if you want on the list. Check, money order or paypal is accepted. They will only be shipped after I receive final payment. I will also not require the deposits until I have 10 and will not begin production until at least those 10 have submitted their deposit.

So far 9 and there seems to be some more interest. I may be able to get better prices if I can get more people. So I will wait after the 10 to see if we get some more people or if it just dies right away. But when we get 10 please start sending in your deposits as I can start making some of the parts right away and push the machining for a period.
Thanks

Thanks for the support.
If we get more, 5+ it may affect the quantity buys, so all of you that are still interested, please submit your deposit and we will keep adding to the list.

I know you would of thought so. I'd like to try a set of his traction control bars out but I doubt we'll ever get a group buy together for them.
StangKiller
07-10-2008, 07:13 PM
The traction bars will never happen, it would take at least 20 for that setup to make it to the streets. And unless you are putting down over 350 hp at the wheels, the LCA's will help plenty.
Thanks for the interest in the product though.
Next I am going to look at a four bolt setup, but I have to get my hands on one to take a look at first and find someone willing to test it out.

There is one setup that was on my car before it was sold. It was taken off. It works but it makes for a hard time driving in certain conditions and provides alot rougher ride. Meant for drag racing primarily. PM me if you have any questions about it.

The parts just got done at the machine shop. They will come back to me and I will bend and weld them. Should take me about two weeks for that. Than 1 week for the powdercoating. When they go to the powdercoater I will ask for the remainder of the funds for purchase. I am still waiting on someone to get me the measurements for the spacers on the bushings so I can get the bushing made. They will only take about a day to make.
bensenvill

the spacers are the exact height of a pack of cigarettes. thought that would be enough for the measurements, will formally measure.

They will be done at the welder's tomorrow and will go to the powder coaters. I should be able to ship out the none powder coated ones on Monday.
The shipping is going to be standard for everyone, sorry, it is alot easier for me this way.
The remaining charge is $250.00. Please let me know if you have any questions.
I will try to send emails out tomorrow to everyone.
The powder coat will be done by Wednesday if I get them this week. So please send the rest of the funds with the same info as included last time.

If you could get with someone who has a set in decent condition im sure he would be willing to look into producing them..I think he has said so in the past, however he cant make any measurements without a set of 4 bolters. I hope you can get ahold of a set because these arms atleast for the 2 bolt cars are a great improvement.

I already have a set from another candidate. The parts are at the machine shop now. I am making two test sets. One for the guy who send me a set and one to break at the University.
I do appreciate the comments though.
When I have a set made for pictures, I will start an interest thread here and on CEG. Should be a couple of weeks. I wanted to get the two bolts done before I started pushing those through.

Sweet...after all this time its getting done...although its not a problem for me ive allready got my 2 bolters :) But its good news for alot of other people who might be interested. Im curious have you had to change your origonal design much...i figured you wouldnt but wasnt sure.
StangKiller
08-14-2008, 08:46 PM
Update: Powdercoating is done with the black. Those that have paid will be shipping tomorrow afternoon. Will know more tomorrow about when on the reds.
The design will not change much for the 4 bolt design, just alittle longer on the bars and some machined parts. Those are going to make them more expensive. Can't wait to get those together now so I can get those on the market. The interest for the two bolt was surprising, so hopefully the 4 bolts will be good.

StangKiller
08-15-2008, 03:09 PM
Grease them and the heims should last forever, just hand grease them or silicone will work. Just let me know and I will cut you a break on a new set with the bushings. I get them at a drastic discount because I buy in the hundreds.
They have shipped for those that paid, a few did not make it out the door because of paid issues, they had to go back, should have them back by Tuesday paint guy said.
Those that did ship should have emails with tracking to the addys that you paid me from.
DemonSVT and and Kpeeks were the ones that paid and did not ship due to paint issues.
Red ones were done also and they shipped.

08-18-2008, 04:11 AM
Danef150 has a good point. I have several other suspension parts that have heims, and every 3-5 months I take them off to regrease them. I clean off the old grease with carb cleaner, then put new grease in.
With these heims, is it necessary to go through all that, or is pumping new grease in, every so often, good enough?
StangKiller
08-18-2008, 07:18 AM
I would say that the maintenance on the heims would depend on the conditions you drive in. If you pick up alot of dust and such in that area or moisture, I would clean them out and regrease. If you don't, I would spray them out in place and pack grease around them.
Phoenix has alot of dust around the area due to sand, so you would need to. Danef is in Louisiana where moisture would be more of an issue. So I would believe he could go longer on a greasing. But I am not an expert on heim maintenance either.

If you read some of my older posts...im guessing from a year or so ago it will give you some insight on what your going to have to do to install them...The Passanger side is cake...the other side you have to lower the subframe a bit to get the bolt out ...or cut it...i lowered my subframe :)

Do you mean 2 bolt control arms ? If thats the question yes it was a gb for the 2 bolters...If not ummm i remember mine coming with ball joints, 4 heim joints, and several bushings to take up the space between the heims and the subframe....

Wow i was way off :)....I'd just lower my subframe its not that much work actually since everything is allready apart...Just loosen the rear bolts and take the front ones out and remove the bolts in the trans mounts...that will give you the room to get the bolt out without cutting it...Also keeps everything the way its meant to be.
