so far there are 57 people registered :)
how does that compare to past years? IIRC, last year there was ALOT of talk of how many people were going (or not) with the location being changed, and it seems before CF, there was about that same number registered.
and what's the number +/- of actual people who attend vs. the number registered ahead of time?

Im pretty sure Fest 05 had the most I thought? That was at Indy, im sure the turnout this year will be great too.

Is that the one Mousa went to? I cant remember, I should hit up the archive. I think you may be right. I have those years mixed up. I didnt go in 06 since I was banned. lol

I think he was at both. 04 he wasted ur n0s and 05 he embarassed himself in the spl comp. Something about his exhaust not being loud....IDK, I wasn't there.

04 was pretty kick ass. Definitely a good turnout.
But did it really outdo attendance from 01?
There must be some threads somewhere down deep that have headcounts from each year since the beginning.

I remember '02 being pretty crowded in Pigeon Forge. '04 was pretty big too.

04 was the first Indy fest, when we had the CARAVAN THE LIKES OF WHICH GOD HAS NOT SEEN. And Trevor autocrossed his Explorer. I think 04 was the largest meet I've been to, and we had drag AND autocross, which was awesome.
05 was Mousa's 14.000001 year :rofl:

Was that the one where you guys were using the freeway construction zone as a slalom course? I remember that video...:rofl: A line of like 10-15 Cougars all swerving between the cones.

Wasn't that also the year that we proved the stock exhaust on a Cougar to be louder than the stock stereo on his car? (Or was it vice versa, I don't recall)

Each year we typically lose 5 cougars from the year before. I think last year was 75 Cougars so this year will probably be 70. Headcount varies alot though, and we never get a solid number. It's typically 1.5 people per Cougar so 105 people.
Heather was our official counter, and if you do a search on this forum you'll probably find counts from a few years, but I don't record it anywhere other than the # of people who registered (which doesn't count no-shows and people that show up without registering).
I'm ballparking 100 people for food and 70 Cougars for planning, and so far it looks like it will be over (better than under).
