Seriously, I found one of their CDs and started listening to it. They were a good group.

I haven't heard anything new about them in a while. I listen to them all the time though! Great for acoustic guitar.

He got sick of people calling him "Hootie" so he killed himself.

Hootie, Live, Candlebox, are playing here in Cincy soon.

its hard to have that "me against the world" feeling when you become rich and alot of musicians begin to lose their appeal. Or maybe its just old age and maturity.

You know how I know your gay?

:ty:

actually funny you randomly (re)found them as they've been making strides back into the mainstream the past 2 months. They've never left the whole road tour circuit, and once in a rare while they've had a few guest spots on random shows. But I know they released a well recieved albumn [or radio singles, whatever just new stuff] and they seem to be getting more steady radio play as of recently.... same story as spin doctors. Anyways, never was a big fan but I do listen to the radio a good 16 hours every day so I tend to pick this stuff up.

I saw them in concert when I was in 11th grade. It wasn't a bad show.

I also saw them like 3 or 4 years ago, and they put on a great show.
they made a new cd a few years ago too.

I just heard his country song on the radio today. He makes a pretty good country singer.

Now Jewel, that ***** just needs to quit singing. She fails at every genre she aims for.

Did she fix that busted up grill of hers yet?

I never payed that much attention to her. She's not bad looking at all, but she can't sing.

Haven't heard the new Hootie yet, but I had this same discussion with my wife 2 weeks ago. Weird.

About a day or so after this thread was first posted, my company sent an email around asking if anyone wanted tickets to the Hootie show coming to NH. I had to laugh.
(my company has suite tickets to different arenas, and often give them out if they're not being used to entertain sales people).
