well guys, dont want to be a downer, but I've been beating myself up about this for the past two weeks. Financially there is simply no way I can swing CF this year. The money I had set aside, I needed to use to get some creditors off my back for medical bills.

So I guess there is no vacation for me this year [CF has been my only vacations the past 4 years... thats kinda sad].

ya my company is in a rough spot at the moment, and personally am just hemmoraging money... theres just no way I can keep up with my expenses at the moment [and I'm living on the basics, no internet/cable/home phone/air conditioning].

So the real conflict at the moment is not so much "can I make CF cheap enough to go" but more of "I cant because the income I would miss out on by going".

So in the next week, I'm going to be selling off a number of prior hobbies [most of my video game collection, robotics equipment, aquarium equipment] and trying to pick up a second job.

Eitherway, I'm still crossing my fingers [and buying a lotto ticket] and hoping for some good karma.

I have a streak going now, since I did make it to NorCalFest 07 (not in my own car, but still). :tongue:

But seriously, I have the money for the trip all set aside and ready to go. I'm doing a couple last things to my car tonight, then I'm using the next week to make sure everything is in good working order. I'm taking a long trip next week up to my Dad's house to get a "long distance" drive down also. If I don't think my car will be good to go, I'll just ride with Greg (Bigoudi). But seriously, as of right now, I don't see anything stopping me from going. If my car blew up tomorrow, I'd just ride with Bigoudi and still go.
