View Full Version : Cougar/Contour Steering column Covers

Are the plastic covers covering the steering column the same in the contour and cougar. I purchased a black leather cougar steering wheel for my tour and want the column to match as well. Or if anyone has pictures that would be great.
Oh and is there any difference between 99,00-01,02 covers?

the covers for all the cougars are the same..... they are not the same as the contours though. if you've noticed the key mechanism is angled towards the driver in the contour and in the cougar its just perpendicular and flush.
although, your post 98 so you have PATS. theres nothing that stops you from swapping the actual steering columns, the wiring will mate right up.

I thought post '98 tours had the same steering column as a cougar?
