Ok looking at Autozone's part numbers the V6 & I4 radiators are the same, correct? So my question is....would a CSVT radiator mount up to my hoses no problem?

Autozone list all the radiators as the same & I know there's a difference.

If you have an mtx, a CSVT radiator will work great...I have one in my car, and there are no mods needed. It's just thicker. You can use one with an ATX as well, but you'll need to install a separate trans cooler.

My only question is why? It will not give your engine anymore hp, and the stock one will do what it is intended to do for a cheaper price. Does your car have any overheating problems do to upgraded performance? If not I would leave the stock one in.

Well Spakes my reasoning behind bumping up to the SVT version is strictly better cooling. I have no problem overheating at all...hell the only time my coolant needle moves is if I'm sitting too long. Although this is with the currently stock motor...which is about to be pulled & built to a 2.3 stroker block with a turbo. So that's when cooling will definitely factor in.

Its not necessary...but hey better safe than sorry.

I also notice that you're running a Megans Racing header...where did you find it? I've looked on their site & can only find Focus springs.

Not a header just tip with offbrand high flow cat.

Havn't had money for header so I havn't even shoped arround for one.
