WTB: SVT TB, bracket, and cruise cable

I need an SVT throttle body, bracket, and cruise control cable to go with the SVT upper and lower I just purchased from another member. :cool:

Well, I found a tb and a bracket, but I still need that svt cruise control cable. Ford dealer says it's not available anymore, so if anyone's got one laying around, hit me up.

From my understanding its just the ATX cable

No the atx throttle cable is the same as the svt, but the cruise control cable is different.

OH... I didn't even notice that you wrote that cable. I thought you were talking about the Tb cable since u had the tb, and bracket on there. Why do you need another one? yours broken? cuz you do not need one just because you got a new tb

because the cruise control cable on a v6 atx coug is different than an svt contour and to hook my cruise control back up to my new svt tb, I need the svt cable. It's not like I can't live without cruise, but I'd just like everything to be hooked back up and functional.

Your just putting an SVT tb on your cougar right? The cable that was on your car should hook right up to the SVT tb with no problems

A request from a member asked what is needed if you have an ATX Cougar performing the "SVT Upgrade Lite" mods:
-You will need a cruise control cable instead of a throttle body cable. The ATX Cougars have identical throttle cables to the SVT Contours, whereas the MTXs have the same cruise control cables as the SVT Contour. So either way, you need a cable- It just depends on your transaxle type as to which you need.

If this is correct, I do need a cable.

And yes, I'm doing the svt lite (svt upper, lower, and tb) on my v6 coug. :cool:

Of course, buying it might be a problem for the next week or so. My paypal account was hacked and someone made $40 in fraudulent charges, so my account is locked down until they get done with their investigation. :eek:
