Free Console, kick panels...

ok so I swapped out my '99 console for an 01-02 one, and right now its just layin around i thought if any of you guys wana take it please do, otherwise im trashing it. I will not ship it out tho, but we can meet up somewhere so you dont have to drive ALL the way to my place. This is what it looks like:

ofcourse not all of the shown parts are on there.....
included: cupspiller, ashtray (willing to ship these separate if anyone wants them)
not included: the whole plastic PRND21 piece..., lighter, armrest (although there used to be one), leather boot for the ebrake (i might add it tho if i swap it with a new one on my center console in time)

it has a couple cracks, definately not the best condition, pretty much a replacement part if yours is completely beat lol

AND I also have the center kick panels/extension panels (#3 on the pic), theyre very dark grey, drivers side one is in mint condition, passengers has a couple small scratches... can ship them separate or together doesnt matter..

If anyone is interested in any of these I'll take pix and post em up...

if you wana pick anything up please let me know.. otherwise you have to pay for shipping, giving dibs to NJ ppl first, then anything shippable ill post them up on the FS section.

Funny thing is I actually could really use the ebrake boot since mine got all ****ed up. If you do feel like parting with it at any time let me know.

well the one from the '99 console is made up of the leather.. boot.. and the plastic piece that secures it from underneath... unfortunately the plastic piece was already broken into 5 pieces, but they were still holding on tightly, so when i took the leather boot off i couldnt reassemble the plastic pieces back together, plus it doesnt fit the 01-02 center console anyway, so i just put the leather boot back on once i installed the 01-02 console, tried glueing it too but it didnt work since the leather boot is a lil too small... have been planning to visit the dealership for a while now just never really had time, i looked it up on teamfordparts too but i wasnt sure if the part i found was the one i needed, plus they didnt even list the price for it so i had to contact them first.. left them a message, hopefully they respond tomorrow.. I can surely ship it out to you once i get the new one but i doubt its gonna be in any better shape than yours is, unless you completely tore it apart somehow lol

nah thats the same problem with mine, the plastic piece is all jacked up. Im probably gonna just rig it up somehow.

On the diagram is part #2 the piece that goes inside where you can put cds in and screws down the console?

yeah thats the mounting bracket to secure the console to the floorboard

well it doesnt go inside of it and its not part of the console, its a metal bracket thats beneath the console and its what you should attach your console to (I actually thought that this part was already welded on?)... the thing for cd's is already part of the console im not sure if thats what youre asking tho :confused:

anyways.. so nobody wants any of the smaller pieces??? if noone takes them ill post them in the FS section this weekend.. or monday the latest, and the center console is probably getting split into a million pieces lol... idk y i love breaking stuff :cover:

Oh I guess i need the price that screws into the metal part. The plastic broke I guess its not a separate piece its part of the cd container.

yeah which is part of the entire console.. use something bigger maybe that would overlap the unbroken parts of the plastic and srew it back in if u got the picture... idk id try that...

That is actually what my plan to do is. I was going to get the 02 console but I have a repair I have to do first:banghead:

is it broken bad? i could probably cut the bottom part out, like the entire cd holder thing and just ship it out if noone takes the whole thing, but then u still have to figure out a way to attach it nicely lol
