Does your LiveLink allow you to tune multiple cars?
To be honest I'm kinda fuzzy on all this stuff, basically I bought a mail-order tune off a guy and loaded it on to my Lincoln via an XCAL 2.
You may actually be a good source of information for this George because I'm wanting to set up the Lincoln to run a 100 shot of nitrous and I know you have experience with it from your Cougar.
Everything I've read suggests the only change that really needs to be made is retarding the timing a little bit for the nitrous. I really would prefer to just pull a few degrees of timing and leave the rest of the tune as-is cuz frankly, I don't want to have to reflash the damn thing every single time I wanna go on or off the bottle.

Well my XCal is set up for my Mustang, and I havent used livelink for anything other than data logging. Is your tuner well known in the Lincoln LS community boards? What kind of shot are you running, dry or wet? Also what brand?

He is, but he's also a bit of a knob. And by "a bit" I mean "a lot", he got all snotty with me about some ****, so I'd prefer to not have to deal with him if I can avoid it.
Its a wet shot from DynoTuneNitrous.
Yeah, the livlink software is only for datalogging and uploading tunes... it isn't able to adjust tunes.

What shot are you running? If its anything less that 100 then I really dont see the need to retard timing. Just use the reccommended jettings for fuel and N20. Im not sure if dynotune has tested their stuff but I know Zex's jetting reccommendation was spot on for AFR.

It would have been a hundred shot but it looks like I won't have it in time for Fest. Timing does need to be pulled though as its been advanced with a N/A tune.

Ah, in that case...yeah. Just run a 75, do you have the tires to hold it together? Id like to get a ride in it for sure.
