ya there are 3 screws in the bottom of the place where you put change or cds, and then there is one screw on each side of it in the front and then pull up

there's also 2 screws were the ashtray is, remove the ashtray and the lighter cover, unscrew the shift knob and remove the boot (remove from the top, it just pops off) there should be 2 screws there, there are 2 screws on the sides, then there is 2/3 screws in the armrest, pull the ebrake all the way back and pull from the front, if you have an auto i have no clue.

you dont have to take off the shifter and shift boot if you the boot sideways it will slide right though when your pulling the console out

yea i guess you dont need to remove the knob, just unclip the boot

be VERY careful if you have an auto, the tape inside the shift bezel retracts when you move the console forward to remove it, if you dont watch it you could mess up your transmission indicator. You hvae to remove the radio as well, there are 2 screws holding it at each corner where the console meets the dash.
