Roush Kit Painted

started preping the kit for a while and today i finally started priming the front. not finished but will keep updated. i just threw it up on the table to show. but here it is so far. paint 2maro.

no the pieces are all seperated just put it like that to see what its going to look like.

front is on and painted. now need to prep sides and rear, but for now the ww will work. also got my ford badging on.

thanks guys i did put a clear coat on put didnt come out very shinney so might take it off and put a couple more coats on.

You also have an Aerogear hood. Is it an Aerogear ST200 Roush Special Edition Cougar?

i say add another coat or 2 of clear and it will look shiney

not to be mean, but i agree with Nemesis:

if you're going for the complete Roush look (i.e. body kit, suspension), use Roush badging.
if you're going for the complete Euro look (i.e. UIM, headlights, tailights, knob, strut tower brace), use ST200 badging.
if you're going for the complete Cougar S look, use Cougar S badging.

i suppose you could have a Roush body kit on the European Cougar and use both Roush & ST200 badging.

but if you're just doing a hybrid, then the badging is awkward, IMO.

i agree i was going to put on the roush emblem instead of the st200 emblem but that badge is 50 bucks and the wife is aready pissed about the kit. so its coming along slow. very slow.

i would have to agree man with jorge and gary. either one or the other or badgeless...u coculd always add the st200 UIM emblem and add the stickers to the underside fo the hood if you have to have stickers. u are ditiching the turbo spoiler and adding the roush one? also do u have the whole roush kit? foglights and the covers? if you dont have the entire kit might not want to label it as a roush.... IMO (close to the cobra kitted v6's....eehem Grant) :) :cover:

i do have the spoiler ready to go on. and as far as the fog lights waiting on the people at our other roush building to see if they have any laying around out there. and like i said its going slow. but hopefully not to much slower.

thats cool i must have miss read. badging it roush on the outside i think would be ok. check the roush brochure in on how they badged it. are u going for clone or custom? taht would give me the answer on the badging. but roush<st200 for badging...remember the st200 was for the mondeo(countour svt of the uk) the roush would be more accurate

clone i have a poster and there is a couple things at my work that shows the roush cougar and i can look it up in the old files. all the st200 badging is off and roush is going on. except the uim. windows, trunk and interior is all going to be roush.

IIRC the only stickers on a roush cougar was on the front banner on the windshield and the sticker on the rear hatch. i am not sure on the side windows. the signature of jack roush is more the mustang roush route

Hey, i have no cobra things on my car... yet. And even then i wont badge it as a cobra. lol. Lame.

BTW thats the wrong ST200 badge from a mondeo. I do have a few of the proper ST200 emblems left.

yeah im half tempted to even pull off my ford badge off my hatch ....its looking good man. cant wait to see the finished product
