I contacted Bob Kruger about the number of knobs he had left but he had sold them all last week. However, he gave me the contact info for the guy who does the manufacturing now. I sent him an e-mail inquiring about generalized info (quantity needed, pricing, etc....) on getting a group buy set up. If we can get them cheap enough who would be interested in buying one? I had one on my last car and its the best feeling shift knob i have had.
Here is the email I recieved back from Tom. Looks like we need to agree on a finish and we need at the very least 25 people to commit! These knobs are currently out of production so he will be doing us one heck of a favor by producing some more. I had one of these on my silver car and absolutely loved it. Nice and small spherical ball fits and feels great in the hand and also has a nice weight to it. So come on guys we need to get this list longer! I dont care what color we get be it silver black etc...... Here is a pic of the spun finish. Price is 35.95

Now if choosing a finish is going to be a problem with you guys then we could order all spun finished knobs and send them to blufuz for a pc finish.

As you may know Contour Voodoo knobs are currently out of production. To warrant doing another run we would need to have something like ~25 interested parties, and they would all have to be the same finish. Pricing would be similar to the current Miata pricing found on our website: Team Voodoo shift knobs (http://www.thompson-automotive.com/voodoo.html)

We have a list started on CEG and I figured I would post here as well. Our best bet will prob be getting the spun finish and having them powdercoated but I am asking him about letting us slide on just picking one finish. Here is the list from CEG just add yourselves to it.

Ok so here is the latest email I got from Tom I asked him again about the different finishes. I dont know what it will cost us regarding the fees he is talking about but we need to get the 25 people in for sure first lol Majority so far has seemed to be all for the piano black. Being that my new SVT is black I have no problem with that finish. I just think it will be easier to do it all spun and have them powdercoated on your own. Let me know what you guys think.
Let's see what you come up with. We have a couple of options regarding finish; 1) we can pay the minimum lot charge for small quantities of a particular finish, or 2) we can hold the SVT Contour knobs and process them with our next order of either Miata or S2000 knobs (thus avoiding the lot charge).

I'm assuming these have the reverse lockout [looked like it from some of the CEG posted photos].
eitherway mine is in need of replacement, I'd be in for a spun finish one.

When I was looking for a substitute for the Roush knob, I came across the Voodoo knob. I didn't think people would be willing to pay $40 for a knob. Guess I underestimated the market. Good luck!

The quality and feel of these make them more than well worth the price and you would never need to replace it like a leather knob cause it is solid aluminum. Maybe you should pick one up too since the market is out there?:shrug:lol

Wow this looks identical to the shift knob I already have and yea it is really comfortable for in you hand. The only thing I didn't like about it is how hot it gets in the summer. Other than that I love it. I was wondering if you could get me the little screws that hold it on. I lost a couple and now my knob trys sliding off all the time.

Ya this is a solid aluminum shift knob that is threaded to screw on. there arent any set screws for these
