I don't think i have the actual sports addition cougar so my question is.... would it be better to go to a dual muffler tip exhaust or a keep it a middle muffler kit from TruBendz?

doesnt matter. if your going turbo, then as long as you have at least a 2.5" exhaust i would stay with whatever you have so you can spend the money elsewhere.

i was running 2.5" exhaust on my zetec long before i went turbo. why waste the money redoing the exhaust?

sorry, the way i read it it sounded like you already had an exhaust. either one is fine. a single muffler may be a little louder than the dual mufflers but may not either. really its whatever look you want.

yeah, with this, it's just about what u think looks better, bc you will be running a single pipe until your back axle, so your exhaust is a single exhaust system, and havin one or two tips won't change anything but the looks, and maybe the sound

so then give me your opinions.... dual tip mufflers or just dual tips looks better?

if your cat is stock, it doesnt have 2.5 inch exhaust piping. Id just go with the trubendz kit. Mid muffler sounds much better in my opinion. I was never into the rear can muffler's.

Dual tipped exhaust is mearly for looks, and yes, it looks ALOT better.
heres an exhaust vid from my cougar-
stock exhaust manifold with borla catback

EDIT-
heres a pic of the single exit... i wouldve much rather gone with the dual exit.

Mine was the 2.0l

And the video you posted was Angelspirits. Basically the same setup as mine, But i think he gutted his cat and thats why its louder.

I had a header and i live in cali. I knew a smog guy lol.

But a catback is perfectly legal and will give you a nice sound. Not much power... if any at all, but itll definetly sound nice.

thats all personal opinion.

I liked borla

Magnaflow was just a deep bassnote in my opinion.
Borla has a nice almost european growl.
flowmaster is really loud, but kind of raspy.
