I know its still a few months away but who's planning on going? I know a few local people near me are going again but none of them have Cougars! Just wondering who is from here?

I think it's in Aug. I went and competed in the one of teh sound comps 2 years ago but didn't get to go last year. I'm not sure, I'll have to see when it gets closer what I want to do.
As far as price I think it's about $25.

thats sounds pretty good hopefully by then i will have a little more in the Zetec to let it run a little harder and look a little better

As far as I know it has ALWAYS been around the 2nd week of September and also around $85 for you to enter your car with (2) tickets. You & a passenger for Both days. Just google it though

I go every year with my car team, its mainly focus's and csvt's. Its usually my bday every year but this year its the next weekend.

I plan to go just getting stuff set for car work and then i'll think about showing... first thing i gotta start saving though is cougarfest

Listen...you pay 90 bucks to park your car and show your car for two days at this show.
The only cars that you mentioned above looking at are in VENDOR ROW, which takes all of 30 minutes too look at. 90 percent of everything else outside of vendor row is horrible RICE. Half the cars there can be seen every first Thursday of the month at the varsity meet for FREE.
Sorry but Nopi has been going down the tubes since 04. Its a waste of time and money, this coming from a person that WON the Cougar class at Nationals.
edit: and btw, 80 percent of the Supras, Mustangs, 350zs that do show at Nationals ARE rice with lambo doors, vinyl from non sponsors, and big tacky wheels. Look at who they are trying to cater to. And Vettes too.... ask me to post pics and Ill find ya some :)

Yes, I have... I was just messing with you since you have a stang... There are all types of cars there for all types of car people. Not everything that you call RICE is rice to EVERYONE!

I agree with both of you. For me personally, most everything is rice these days. That's why i just ride around in my little box, and don't do too much. I'd rather hang out in the river all weekend than spend 400-500 bucks to go to Nopi. I can have way more fun, and still sleep in my own bed.

I go to party every year mainly, but this year I want another trophie. I do agree with George in some ways, I have won a 1st place trophie there as well and there is ALOT of rice. Hey I remember when you won 1st George and you got a free clutch for a automatic car:rofl:
