Ok, so I dated a chick for a month...well, lets say she was really nice for the first 2 weeks and led me on, I liked her a lot...then just dropped off....lets just say she has some issues..mentally (previous boyfriend). That explains why she went on a date with me (beat ya to it) :) So, anyway..she has some of my stuff and won't return my phone calls now. So I'm kinda ticked off. Now...what would you do in this case:

I know she does a scam and takes coupons for an item, buys it when it's buy one get one free, returns one item at a time (at walmart), I think without the reciept, so, they give her full money back. Now....because it's under 10 dollars, they don't check ID. So, she's making out with money left and right. By the way, she has a map of every freakin' walmart around...so she makes money on it. I think that could be considered fraud...I'm totally not an expert. BUT....do I be an a$$ and inform them that someone is basically ripping them off...plus, it's ripping us off to. They're loosing money, which in turn would up the cost...obviously not because of one person, I'm not a moron that one could make the price go up. I thought it was smart at the time, I wouldn't do it, but now that she's being that way...maybe a payback time :)


So.......what would you do? AND....is it illegal to return stuff for money that you really didn't pay for?

i wouldn't get involved in the legal issues with her just watch the local wanted ads and news nightly she'll be on there soon. then you can laugh about it and not worry about being drug into the middle of it. its cool you got your stuff back. plus if you tell on her about that **** she might burn your house down lol. thats never a good thing.

What she is doing IS illegal...it's the same as stealing. Although I will say it's pretty clever for someone who sounds like they probably aren't the brightest crayon in the box.

you can make anonymous claims without any burdon of proof, or simply state that you are suspicious of them, and they can add you to the list. of which to the person of question has no immediate action to get their name cleared [you can petition the state to have it removed but that is not an option for the first 3 years]. And yes, this is something that will come up in any background check [and will appear as if you've been convicted of a charge].
