So I've been having some fun with the home brewing kits for the last month or so now. Each kit pumps out about two gallons of rather delicious booze, and we have a total of three of them. Me and one of the roommates tried out one kit and decided we liked the beer well enough to pick up two more so we can expand our options.
Anyways, we are now in a bit of a conundrum . . . see, it takes about 16 days from start to finish to make each of these kits, a week fermenting, a week carbonating and another 48 hours chilling.
We bottled the latest batch last Tuesday and last night moved it to the beer fridge for chilling. However, we started three new batches of beer on Friday, meaning that it could be ready to bottle as soon as this Friday.
However, we don't have anything to put the new beer IN to, as our current bottles are full of the starter beer that came with the kits.
So we need a little bit of help emptying our bottles so we can get the new and different batches of booze brewed up. :)
Anyone who wants to come over is completely welcome. There's roughly two cases worth of homebrew, so I would encourage people to bring some of their own stuff as I'm currently unsure of how many people will be attending this little shindig. Either way, I need all this beer gone by Sunday morning. :)
