so today i painted my stock rims black i like the way it looks what does everybody else think? (don't mind the dirt on the bottom or the dirty tire)

The rims dont look great!:cool: but it looks like your rotor is toast.:eek: i would deffinatly get that changed

paint looks clean, but I prefer after market rims!
i feel his pain tho.
when i started modding, i didnt have any cash.
he tried and did an admirable job of pulling it off. kudos, biotch.

ya thanks, i am a little strapped for cash right now so that why i decided to paint them but believe me if i had the money i would go for aftermarket.

I like the look of them and I dont' have a lot of money either. How'd you do it? What kind of paint and prep, etc?

I think you did a very good job on them...they look great, especially being the fan blade ones...:thumbsup:

what would look even better is throwing some spray can clear on top of that to make them shine. and if you done like it, you can always spray back over it....

thanks, what i did for prep is i took them off my car and cleaned them and dryed them really good, then taped off the middle cougar symbol/tire/valve stem. I used black primer for paint and i put about 3 coats of that on. i was debating on clear coat but decided not to.

i saw the preview and I immediately screamed rice.
But after looking at 'em, they look fresh! I would definitely get some clearcoat on 'em because the matte black makes it looks like dirt. Overall, nice job
