Just wanted to let you guys know that I have finally put together a website where you can follow along with my race action. What you see at this time is one days work and I will be adding further pictures of the cars and giving race reports after each event. Its just a start, but will become more exciting as I add things. As well it is not a business site, but a site for providing information.

I thought I would add a quicklink for those of you too lazy to type, LOL.

It's a shame I didn't make it up to Mosport this weekend (messed up my neck and couldn't move Sunday). It would have been good to see JR's old car but really I am pissed since I missed my brother racing in the Civic they just finished (was racing in CTCC as well). Maybe I'll see you at Shannonville next.

You wouldn't have seen me out. I am still going through the car system by system to repair what is broken and upgrade where we can. As well after I found out how special the panels were, I have been working very hard to save the existing bodywork. It is amazing to be able to push out the dents with the end of a hammer!!!! I also have to trim back the front spoiler to 1.5" and create a front diffuser to reclaim the lost downforce. I am also raising the rear spoiler about 2" to the max allowed.

We have also had to move the drivers seat inwards and back, drop the steering column 2 inches lower, hook up a bunch of systems that had been disconnected and at present we are going through the engine oiling system, air intake and ecu (spark and fuel) to make sure that what we have is okay. After these are done, we have to go through the braking system, gearbox and cooling system.

Finally, after all the mechanical systems are working okay, then we can take the car in to get painted again. At present the plan is to paint the unibody section white again and paint the mirrors, front and rear fascia's Ford Blue. Then the car has to get re-lettered and after all of that, then I need to go out and practice a bit as it has been over 15 years since I have raced a front wheel drive car. I have never raced a 300 HP FWD car before, so the learning curve will be pretty steep.

Therefore, I am realistically looking at late July or early August before my first CCTCC race.

Eric
