Just wondering if anyone else has noticed a nice speed increase since I upgraded the server software that runs this site last night?

I just fixed a few problems about 20 minutes ago, so test it out today and let me know. Also be aware that what could appear as a slow messageboard could simply be a slow internet/wireless connection.
you unclogged some tubes?

I haven't noticed a speed up, but on the other hand, I never really saw much of a slowdown before, so... not sure if I'd notice anything anyway. :shrug: It's certainly not slower than before.

Im with Linkman... when everything is working, I've not noticed much of any slowness recently. :shrug:

Trevor, you must keep a close watch on things, and preemptively upgrade, because this site never really gets slow. :thumbsup:
the contour sites on the other hand can be quite frustrating...

Overnight around 3:30am local (I think 6:30am Eastern?) I keep getting a "The Server is Busy" message, it lasts for a fairly short time or so then.

Yep. I get up around 6:30-7:30 am EST, and I log on to see what the late-night crew has been up to. But I can't do ANYTHING because of the server issues. I've lost more posts that way; I'll type something up, hit Send, and get the "busy" message - post's gone!
