Well at this time I don't think my engine/tranny will be ready for the track, so I might end up bringing the Talon instead. If that's the case, I'm down for a run... =)

Part of my bumper, around the drivers side fog light, is missing. All you see is intercooler pipe...You can see it in the pictures George took in Atlanta. The subaru isn't exactly picture perfect:rofl:

I just got my GTO, and Stove and I were on a highway, and he slows down to about 40mph, I keep his pace, we both downshift, he gets the hit.. He pulls on me.. I later figure out that I should have downshifted to 2nd, not 3rd.. yeah yeah ".. Inch or a Mile.. " He beat me fair and square..
Although now, I'm still mostly stock other than K&N Filter, Exhaust Cutouts, and Drag Radials, and he probably has a few more goodies.. so it should be a good race!

Ah, now that makes sense. At 40mph if you would have dropped to 2nd you would have got a nice burp from you tires and then you would have taken off like a rocket. I'm still adjusting to the 6 gears, and longer gearing myself. I'm used to the 5 extremely short gears that I had in the cougar with the 4.5 final drive.

Unless you recently got cammed/blown/Nitrous (And something tells me you may have), I think it's gonna be a good driver's race.. The LS1 GTO and the Mustang GT are close enough to make it a good race..
