Isn't it 2 months away? I'm still debating on going. I may have the Black car running pretty well by then if I continue on the current progress but the premium gas would kill me. I've always had the Blue car so I feel that should be go but she's got 146k on the clock and has some "cosmetic character".

Its in Indi. Its a great trip to make. Ive gone to Cougarfest 5 times, this will be my 6th If I reckon. 2003 was my first year, and that was at VA Beach. Definitely worth the drive. And the drive is really half the fun.

Well it depends. If you room with someone you can save money. My lady and I have a room man or will soon. You can stay with us and split the cost.

Plan on at least 2 fill ups each way.

I plan on leaving that Wednesday man, then driving back early on Sunday from the hotel at Indy. Let me know man, if you do go we can all split a room or something if youd like. Double king or something.

I'd be up there but I have a wedding to go to. I have full confidence that we could put the interior back together in one day.... although that doesn't include the dash because I've never had to put one back in but I'm sure we could figure it out.

Unless the Black one is running very well I would bring the Blue one, besides I want to enter the SPL comp if there is one.

Well I think it would be great to bring it but I've had the Blue one for so long and I'm a Fest Virgin so I'd feel bad or strange that I didn't bring the veteran car. If only I could get both up there, that would be sweet. However, even if I had someone to drive the Black one up there (I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find a friend willing) it would cost waaaaaay too much in gas to bring up both cars.

Actually, the green 99 is the veteran of the group but it's in FL with my mother.

xD I think I might know who he is talking about! :rofl: Ill chip in some for gas if it happens to be. Just gotta get a job then ill be able to go. Only 400$ a month on my personal expenses so I usually have alot left over (no I don't offer hand outs) when I have a job.

Anyways when it comes down to it. Lets say our tank is an even 15 Gal at 4$ per. for premium. 60$ per tank. Where as low grade 3.80$ would be around 57$. **** after all that 3$ per tank isn't crap really.

But it adds up after a few tanks. I dunno how long the drive is nor how the car will do on gas. Or what gas prices are up north.


My suggestion is after the cars in decent working order, check the gas mileage. Then think about taking it.

Yeah we got home safe. Atleast I did, lol. Ryan made it to his car. Nate got the crap scared out of him by a cop, as did I. He raced what appeared to be a Honda and after i caught up (after 285) I got beside him cause somehow i got ahead of him. Was an epic fail on my part lol.

Deff need to hang out more often. Go drink or try that cinnamon **** :rofl:. (I'll try it). I'll let you know asap but If i can get the money to make my monthly payments ill goto fest. Only need 300 atm. And i'll think of a price for those seats.

It was great a weekend and I would have tried to come by to see the car if I had realized how close I was!! I think we actually rode a bus into Fairfax because we left via the Dulles Airport yesterday. The friends that got married live up there so I'm sure I'll be visiting them again. I should have the Black car on the road by then and maybe I'll just make it a road trip.
