I am selling my Zetec Cougar-S, as I can not afford it as a daily runner (It costs $120 to fill up over here!) and have no time to take it to shows.

It is one of only 3 Cougar-S kits on the roads at the moment, there is a possiblity no more will be made.

If there is anyone out there who wants a project car with a euro twist, let me know!

I have it up for £4500

Here is the spec;

1999 2.0 Zetec

99k on the clock.

Blueflame exhaust,
Kei 18" alloys with NEW tyres,
Cougar-S body kit,
Kaminari carbon fibre bonnet,
racing dampers,
front lowered by 30mm (Have rear springs to lower rear as well),
EBC front break discs,
Wings West Commando spoiler,
Cat 1 Alarm.
Uprated stero system, inc. 2 subwoofers, all built into the rear.

If anyone is interested, send a PM. The buyer will have to sort out shipping from the UK if you really want it!!

I know this is a bit of a long shot, but there might be someone on here who loves the cougar-S kit they will go the extra mile to buy her!

Thanks,

Rod.

What would this be in US dollars? And how much for shipment to Chicago?

approx double the pound cost... and so much you would regret asking, like he said, you're going to have to make arrangements for shipping, along with getting the car titled.

I thought I felt a great disturbance in the cougar-force earlier today... now it makes sense. :(

If someone from Canada or the US were to buy it, that would be one hell of a unique ride! I don't think there is a complete cougar-s kitted car over on this side, and sure as hell not one that is ALSO RHD! :drool:

Sad to see, but good luck with the sale. :)

Shipping a car from UK to NY port to Port (meaning that someone in UK drop the car at the pier and once it arrives in NY someone picks it up) will cost you around $3000 not including Terminal handling charges which can go up to 500 a vacis exam, which rarely happens to cars shipment, 200 and custom duties i have no idea i have to find that out for you! and plus whatever it cost to deliver the car to Chicago. and some charges that come up once in a while, (companies charge for FEDex when you send the title, plus paper work etc)
4500 = total cost of the shipment to pier
8775 = 4500 pounds (conversion 1 pound = $1.95 :eek:)
13275= for a cougar S to arrive at the pier in NY!

If you are really interested I will find out an exact quote for you! This is just an est from the top of my head!

Thats a lot more than I was hoping for. Oh, well, someone will give it a good home. Wish I could get it, I'd love to have a RHD Cougar.

3000 seems a bit too much for RORO.

My cougar was trucked from Durant, Oklahoma to Houston Texas on a truck, then was put into a 20 foot container there, and sealed. Then it traveled to Trieste, Italy. Total cost was 2900 dollars. (yes, including truck). my port handling charge was 600 euros at Trieste.
Now if you were to just RORO, (roll on, roll off) it should be half that price, which should be around 1500 dollars plus port handling charge.

One advantage of container shipping is that you can put whatever you want inside the car and it will not be exposed to the weather.
RORO, you just drop the car off and they will take care of it from there. but no personal items can be inside and you must insure any valuables such as your HU separately.
