Panhandle Cruisers *Pensacola*

Hey everybody. I haven't seen a lot of Cougars around Pensacola but I have seen a couple. The Panhandle Cruisers meet up in the Burger King parking lot on 9mile road every Saturday night. Are there any Pensacola area NECOers who are interested in meeting up there and swapping ideas?

Well hey we got people in panama city and pensacola and i am in Ft Walton Beach. So i propose a meet in the middle in Ft Walton Beach.

nothings technically broken. its more the car has a 182k miles and im in the process of replacing gaskets and any thing else i see thats seen its days. actually im hoping to be finished before the first of june. so anytime after that just need a bit of a heads up and hopefully i can get off of work and make it.

Is there a place in FWB where we could do it? I'm not going to lie, I was pretty fond of the idea of not having to leave Pensacola but if that's what's necessary to get together then maybe we should do it.

I think that I'm gonna try to get down to the Panhandle Cruisers' meet tonight just to see what I see. Is there anyone else who may try this?

i'll meet in anywhere, i was just thinking logistically. well the whole area is lined with beaches. i have monday and tuesday off so i'll scour the area for a place where we can park close to the water and where there is plenty of room for cars. i'll get back with guys when i find a place. let me know if there is anyone else interested.

Sorry that's my fault i said i was going to look for a spot by the beach and i haven't gotten back to you guys yet. whenever you guys are ready i can give directions to a parking lot near the beach. It's in Navarre. Let me know... i'm thinking the weekend of the 7th. i don't work then.

That weekend sounds like a definite possibility. I'm out of town the following week. I'll have to check the schedule and be sure that I'm open. Do you guys know any Cougar owners that aren't on the forum?

i've seen a couple around but i don't know of any personally. if i see them i'll see if i can get them to join or at least meet when we get a date.

Hmm, figures after I sell mine is when new members near Pensacola start popping up. :flushed:


I used to go to the Panhandle Cruiser's show and shine all the time in my old Cougar. It was a break from all the old muscle and classic cars. But always kinda looked out of place. Downtown at the Bayfront was more of the crowd for my old Cougar.
