Hey- Wanted to post up with some links from the Lindsay Cadillac Summit Point Track day this past Friday. A buddy of mine (Ross with the GP GTX) owns a CTS-V, and due to a last-minute cancellation, they were nice enough to allow me in with my Goat.

We were on the Shenandoah circuit (with the banked Nurenburgring-copy Karussel turn  )- Started off raining, learned more about the car than any other time I've ever driven it. After lunch, it dried out, and the track got FAST. I really got to see what the stock GTO can do- Then I promptly fried the brakes (brake fade at 110MPH = ), and turned the stock Potenzas to slippery mush. I did a little "off-roading" once on the back straight, but that's the only "off-track" I got. There were a few other incidents, but no one was hurt. Can't say the same for two CTS-Vs  ...

Flickr Photos - I'm in the Yellow Group, #19 (http://www.flickr.com/photos/ctsvphoto/collections/)

Kudos from V Owner (Post #84) (http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/cadillac-cts-v-series-forum-2004/139673-good-morning-summit-point-9.html)

Tried my best to represent!

Trevor- Any of the shots of me and/or Ross come out okay? Post 'em up!

Yeay for track days! Boo for cars getting hurt during track days. We had a car spin out into a jersey barrier last year...totalled the car! But good that nobody was hurt!
