Autobody Help

Anyone have any body shop connections? I smashed up my '02 Cougar XR and just got cut a check from Progressive. I'd like to get it fixed cheaply, so I can save myself the $1k deductible. :biggrin: I hoping they can use used parts where ever possible to save money. Basically, they gave me $4,400 to fix this:

Now if you notice in the second pic, the hood seems 'flatter' and there is a dent in the roof, right above the windshield...that's because the hood came loose on 92, flew back, and smashed my windshield. :flushed:

The windshield is fixed but Progressive won't cover the roof dent. I think all it basically needs is a hood, bumper, driver's side headlight, fog light and the radiator support.

get all the stuff yourself besides the radiator support, take it in for that and you can do the rest yourself and save money that way

wonner, the part thats going to suck is matching the paint, everyone with the 3 stage reds say it is impossible to match.

I had the right side of my car painted back in November and he got the paint dead on. Some lady clipped me in the Safeway parking lot, so i went ahead and got all the dings and scratches off that side. You sure it wasn't Main Street Auto Body. I took the ZX2 there. They hooked it up. I think they were able to do this because of all the insurance fraud. Plus their work was only so so. Angel's has been treating me good. But i have just been doing business with him in the last 2-3 years I think.
