View Full Version : Unable to view threads

I've found two threads that I'm unable to see. When I navigate to them all I get is a blank page. The two threads are the GTA4 thread in the Lounge and the Cougar in Video Games/Movies/Tv thread stickied in the Video/Picture section.
I was having this problem earlier at work, and I thought it was the internet there. Now I'm home and I still can't access those two threads.
Just wondering if anyone else has been having the same problem of not being able to view threads.

Do you remember altering the settings in your preferences? If you set the number of posts displayed per page too high, browsers can have issues displaying all of the responses/images etc.

I didn't change my settings, but I went in and looked at them. My posts per page setting was on "Use Forum Default". I changed it to 50 per page and the problem is resolved. So thanks!

That may have been something that I did ... I changed all forums to display posts from the last 100 days by default and IIRC, I changed only a handful of forums from "all posts" to "within the last 100 days".

Having similar issues...threads in GMH and a few others...
Most notably the thread about Fjmckeever in Transaction feedback is inaccessible.

OK, after playing around with in options in UserCP I think its working.
I changed "Number of Posts to Show Per Page" to 50 per page. Before the update it was at 100. Then after the update it was set to "forum default"
Then I changed "Default Thread Age Cut Off" to show all threads. It was using "forum default" after the update.
Not sure which one of these fixed the issue (probably posts per page)...but it seems to be working now. :thumbsup:
