Just be clear, I do not condone this kind of behavior on the street.

This was definitely not fun to watch, I can't get it out of my head.
Yesterday around 7pm, 4 of us took the bikes out for a ride. We had just met up with a friend of mine and took off down a busy two lane road. We had only been riding for about 30 seconds when this friend decided to do a wheelie... Well he went up, lost his footing on the right peg. When he slipped from the peg, he latched onto the throttle and brought the bike up and over. Luckily he cleared the bike when he fell off. But he did some brutal rolls before rolling over onto his back with his arms and legs in the air. He spun around like a turtle on it's shell about 4-5 times, before getting up and running to another buddy of mine, without a single injury. The bike is totalled, it left a nice long trail of oil and coolant. I'll post some pics if I can get some.

ouch my friend just killed his bike as well, even though he said he wasn't being stupid. hit something in the road at 50 mph and had the bike roll on him.

makes me not want to get a bike now.

I have a buddy who wiped out trying to do a wheelie at 45mph on a main road. Bike wasn't totaled but he nearly was. He was knocked unconscious when he went down and suffered from back injuries, a broken hand, and road rash all along his extremities. Not to mention he didn't even have his license yet or insurance on the bike. If it wasn't for the fact that he already got pretty hurt me and some friends where going to kick the **** out of him for stupidity.

Stuff like that is the reason I won't get a bike. I know that I would get myself hurt, or worse. I enjoy going fast too much.

I totaled my 05 gsxr 600 in a wheelie. i went down at about 130 mph...i was stunting for about two years and never forgot to set the steering damper but that day i did. i was in a wheelie for a couple miles and something in my head said set it down you've gone far enough. so i decide to be safe and set it down and i got the tank slaps at about 95 in third so i gave it full throttle to try and ride it out it started getting better then next thing i know it kicks the rear end out and my face hit the pavent. i remeber everything like it was yesterday....scariest **** ever. i remember the bike hitting the rev limitor right before i went down so we assumed that it was about 120-130 mph. i learned my lesson real quick and still have my helmet and wrecked bike to remind me that i have a kid and a gf that i need to be alive for so i stopped riding all together. i managed to stand up 5 secs after i stopped sliding and floping down the road/ ditch. my bike was totaled and i walked away with $10k in hospital bills $9k lost in a new bike and 2 weeks of hospital visits for road rash and physical therapy. didn't break anything only dislocated my shoulder sprained my thumb and tons of road rash where my jacket lifted and where the pavement bunrt through.....that **** is dumb and i wil never do it again....my friend went down two weeks later same injuries but he still rides.
