well i went to the gas station to get some smokes and i pull in, stop, within 2 seconds some ass hole backed right into me, it was a piece of crap 90 something stratus with a hitch  he backed into me and the hitch took a chunk out of my rear rim and this is the damage to the rear bumper and roush valance  i'm so glad he didn't hit the quarter panel at all. just scratched the bumper and valance, left some paint scratches so it just has to be repainted, and the hit to the rim bent my rear lower suspension arm so i have to get a new one of those also, and the guys friend was in another car and the guy came over and crabbed the guys pot and left with it so he wouldn't get in trouble for it. i gotta call his insurance and get the $500 from his insurance on monday but that will only pay for the bumper and valance to be painted

i have to get a new rim cause of the chunk missing, i found a new one for $200 shipped to the discount tire sepot, and i pick it up the next day. so i'll be going monday to get an estimate for the complete damage, including the rim, alignment, and the rear suspension arm

Naturaltal3nt
05-04-2008, 01:10 AM
just tell them the rim was damaged and isn't repairable and give the shop the website to get a new one so they can include it in the quote.

and since the ass clown backed into my rim the steering wheel is cocked to the left, like between the 11 and 12 oclock position, but i'm hoping that is from the bent rear control arm

Well I'm not a lawyer, but you may come into a slight issue.

Depending on what state your in - parking lots are considered automatic no fault.

Definetly might hit a snag with that. All of damn california is no fault.

i think i drive better when i'm smoking. it makes you focus more on the fact that you are driving  drinking and driving is a different story.

(even if i do get into a ton of accidents that are not my fault. :()

that sucks man, at least he didn't drive away.

well i'm taking it in the paint shop in the morning, it's shouldn't be more than $300-$350 to repaint the rear bumper and roush valance, and the rim is $213.50 shipped to discount tire, plus alignment and rear lower control arm. so i'm hoping his insurance will pay for everything and not just give me $500 cause he has no fault

since you get in a ton of accidents, you got any advice?

two were in both my high schools and colleges parking lot, when some one hit me while i was moving and they both turned out that the other driver was at fault and the police report said something similar. both were paid for by the others persons insurance company.

one was when i backed into my friends neighbors car:banghead: and i ended up giving him my information and i also called my insurance company and i believe that they will end up paying for the damage i did to his car.

with my experience in NY just get the other persons insurance and you will have no problem getting your car fixed even if it

good stuff bro! when you get the tire swapped have them balance the bent rim without the tire first. then keep the wieghts on it and if you ever need it atleast it'll be close to being balanced before the tire....follow me?
