99 to 2000 Seats???

I just got a pair of 1999 cloth seats for my 2000 Cougar and I need to know how to wire them in.

The seats I currently own have side airbags, lumbar support and a manual front/back bar, manual lean, and a power up/down switch

Oddly enough, the 1999 seats I bought are all power. They have two switched in the front for all function. No airbags and ... no lumbar support :banghead:


I just want to make sure that wiring the seats in won't pose a problem before I do the switch. Lemme know what I'm facing :disgust:

They should just plug right in since the seat connectors were the same in 99-02. Either way they will definately work. I put a pair off 99 seats in my 02 but the connectors were different so I had manually wire them in.. nothing too hard.

you will need to swap seat backs and lose power lumbar or have the airbag brackets welded onto the new seats. Otherwise none of the airbag will deploy in the event of an accident.
