any one have similar problem?
dude.
Who installed it? Time to go hold them to account.
If you did it, time for a new transaxle. Car-part (http://www.car-part.com) FTW.

that is very weird ...I had the half shaft pull out of the trans last weekend while cruising down the higway, the nuts holding it to the bracket came off. no damage done. slide the half shaft back into the trans and added fluid and was good to go ...

What side was it? Driver side or passenger side? What was wrong with the previous one? Your diff may have been bad in the first place and then finally blew up when you put the new shaft in.

Any advice for jamming the shaft in there so the circlip engages? I'd hate to blow my tranny. I used a rubber mallet on the end of the half shaft and decided it was in when i was unable to pull the shaft out using just my hands.
You'll hear it "click" or "pop" into place at the end of a rubber mallet blow as it seats. You also won't be able to see shiny metal (if you're reinstalling a used shaft) indicating that the shaft is right where the seal seat used to be.

The shafts are new. maybe i'll post a couple pics for you to eyeball.
BTW, not happy with Briscoe Transmission. Next time we chat, I'll tell you about it.
