Any US peeps heading up Toronto way soon?

Am attempting to have my brother snag me a camera from the US as he is down there right now, but might not work out.

If it doesn't, and you -- my US friend -- are coming to the Toronto area very soon, perhaps I can ship this small camera to you, and you bring it to me, for a case of beer?

Yeah! Where is "stones throw" ? Will know tomorrow if I was able to snag this camera or not. My digital finally bit it, so need to snag a new one.

Ended up snagging a Canon Powershot SD1000 to replace my trusty, tried and true (but now-dead) old Powershot S400. A great camera she was... hopefully the SD1000 will be as good.

FYI, I managed to have FutureShock beat Staple's advertised $150 price, so snagged it for $142. Heck of a deal....

Not as good as that Canon TX-1 I really wanted... but will do the trick.
