Two big issues with this.
1) The ones out there causing the rucus, for the most part, weren't even hockey fans. Just useless thugs looking for an excuse to bash up some cop cars, and loot a few stores. They took advantage of the celebrations for their own jollies. LOSERS.
2) It takes all the attention away from the great series it was and for all of the Canadiens efforts and the great story of a series this was for them. Instead of the headlines reading 'Montreal Wins' we're seeing 'Montreal Flames'. I'd be pi$$ed if I was any of the Habs players. They go out and work their tails off for 7 games and don't get the recognition they deserve.
It even gets better:
I was reading on ctv.ca about it, and they have a blog section below each article where the public can post comments. Check this one out.

"Big deal, revellers having a bit of fun. Rioters! Leave it to the deadbeat Toronto media because their Leafs didn't make it to the playoffs again...to blow the story out of proportion. If it were any other team it would be ok."
Now I can see an actual Leafs or Sens fan saying something like that, but to accuse the Toronto media? RETARDED!!! 5 cop cars burned, stores burned and looted.....Whats disproportionate about that? LADY....RES IPSA LOQUITOR - The facts speak for themselves.
