Any idea whats gotten into the water around Grand Island?? It looks disgusting! Almost like 100,000s of floating gooey blobs of pulp paper. I asked a couple people in the area and they just laughed and said they didn't know what it was..
If my house was on the water front on Grand Island.....I would be FURIOUS!!! Id love to know why a spill this large isn't all over the news.

DONT go in the water, e coli and all sorts of fun stuff in there. just wait till they start to close beaches this summer, last summer it was like a good 3/4 of them.

im actually going on my friends yacht 2maro for a boat party in grand island and i will check it out.

I only saw it from the 2 bridges on the 190 over the river. Sure hope your boat party isnt around there.

if you look to the west of the bridge (away from the falls) it is around that corner on grand island. the boat is in the dock anyways and we just hang out in/around that area so i don't think it will be that big of a problem.
LOL!!! Too funny. It's called ice. It's all broken up from Lake Erie and floating down the Niagara River.

Really? It didn't look like ice. And its been so warm!! Was like 28 C (82 F) that day. You guys had beautiful lush green grass.....mind you we kinda do too now.
