Hey guys, the guys over at azstreetscene.com are setting up a Jerome cruise/BBQ for May 10th. Full details are still being worked out, but it will be a drive from Phoenix to Prescott, lunch at the lake, then a drive to Jerome, then back down the hill to PHX.
Info so far...
"We will be meeting at Lynx lake @ 12 noon.
I will set up a meeting spot in the valley so that all you guys coming from that area can cruise up together. Should be a lot of fun"

Q: "ppl on other forums are wondering. Is the BBQ BYOM? I didn't know. so i figured i better ask ya"
A: "nope! the cost is 10 for all you can eat and drink"
We've got several CEG'ers interested, and I'm going to propose the "back way" to Prescott up Yarnell Hill through the twisties, figured it would be our chance to have fun with the Mustangs and F-body's. :evil:
Greg, feel free to let the KMB guys know also.

Yeah he's all butt-hurt with me because I passed him, calling me a "ricer" flying by him like a 12 year old with an ego. Well his ****ing Camaro was doing maybe 50mph on bald ass tires, I'm soooooo sorry my car handles better than his. :rolleyes:

Yep... he should have taken I-17 instead of nursing his broke car on the twisties and ruining everyone else's fun. I'm sure the first-timers still had fun on that part though.
Bobby... that's too bad the camera was off. The LEO footage would have been great!

5 of us I think. Me, John, and 3 Subaru's. 2 of which are lucky they didn't kill someone (passing in totally blind corners and nearly head-on'ing several innocent people). I love a nice spirited drive, but wreckless driving like that is unacceptable IMO.

I turned it on when we left the gas station up the street from the lake, but it shut off again before we got to Jerome. :facepalm: I know what the problem is now though, so I can make sure it doesn't happen again. I do have some solo action for White Spar that I am putting together right now, thats all I'm really gonna have though. :(
