Stupid CougarFest Question

Okay, I was thinking about it... And cant think of a logical answer...


Why is this year's CougarFest dubbed "X"? I mean, I figure it's probably not going to be the 10th year for CougarFest, seeing as this is only the 9th year since the New Edge Cougars were released. Soooo, someone wanna let me in on the secret?

It IS the 10th year since Cougars. 99, 00, 01, 02, 03, 04, 05, 06, 07, 08 Count 'em. 10.

Hmm, I guess I am just used to event's that count the tenth as the actual decade mark. if you were born in 99, you'd only be 9 years old (unless you were born before 04-15-99) Of coarse, now that I think about it... The 99 model year was more than likely released half way through 98, if not earlier.

While labeled as a 99 model year, the earliest cars actually came out in late 98.
