how about a link to what you where viewing/reading?

That's the thing that mists NO2 on your intercooler to chill the charge, innit?

I believe its CO2, but yeah

No, i believe this is the cry O2 system, it cools the intake air by means of a 2 inch steel bulb in a section of intake piping. Idk but i would only use it for turbo applications to cool the intercooler, idk about the use of it in a N/A setup.

it does a couple of things let see if i can find a link just thought you would do a web search

hope this helps you out
the web site says you can use the system for a inter cooler system cold air intake (kind of a cool tech if it works) and type of fuel chilling system. i thought you want your fuel to be at a certain temp so it has the best atomization.

Hmm us DSMr's use Ntercooler kit. Which is basically spraying Nitrious on the intercooler to lower temps.

i was looking at it for the otheir applications not just for the inter cooler. but it kind of throw me off when it said you can cool down the fuel going to your engine

Maybe if I had a turbo it would be a good idea, but almost $400 to lower air temp doesnt seem worth it to me.

That would be good for people that have the water-air intercooler setup. As long as it wouldn't break their "bulb", you could put it in the reservoir.

i was thinking about trying this cause with my team scp sponsorship i can get newhere from 30-80 percent off of it....if i can get 80 percent off of it i will probably try it

It would be good for Air2Air intercoolers as well. But which ever way you use it, it wouldn't be worth a crap for road racing. It has the same downfall as NO2.

sounds almost like a water methanol injection kit...

I've been reading a bunch about the cryo kit... and I've read many, many threads that said the water methanol kit is cheaper and more effective. I still think it may work well for cooling a water-air intercooler reservoir though.

i have this kit. of course my a isn't ready yet so i haven't actually tested it, but this is what i have:
2 intake cooling bulbs, fuel line cooler, intercooler spray bar, and water mister. so i have a tank with carbon dioxide in the the car next to my nitrous bottle. when i hit the button the CO2 will first pass through the fuel bar/ this bar has 2 chambers, one where the gas passes through just before it hits the fuel rail and the other chamber is where the CO2 passes.
then it passes through the first intake bulb which is situated before the intercooler. we haven't decided whether to put it before the MAF or after seeing how i am going with nitrous which is also gonna cool the air a little.
then there is another bulb after the intercooler.
finally the CO2 vents on the intercooler which has some water misted onto it at the same time.
i'm thinking a system like this is only really for serious drag racers only because the difference is probably negligible. but i only have it b/c its another goodie thats a little different from everyone else.

I wouldn't look at like that...
Yes the idea is to cool the air coming into the engine... but that "idea" is the end of their similarities...
