my clear coat is peeling a little bit, in like random spots on my car is there a way to stop this or would i just have to have the clear coat all redone?

welcome to the club :tongue:, since i bought the car the only place was the hood peeling on the one side, and the rest faded, i tried using rubbing compounds and stuff but nothing helped and its gotten to the point where there is just spots taht dont have clearcoat on the hood with peeling around it.
I really dont think there is anything you can do if its actually peeling. maybe if its just starting to oxydize but, peeling you prob have to have it repainted.
ive just decided to get a new hood ( top shop cougar s) then get that painted :biggrin:
one thing that gets me is why only the hood is that way and not any one spot else where on teh car. maybe cuz they drove it to cali alot alot alot, so the excessive exposure to engine heat and the hot desert sun on top :confused:
