You need pretty much the whole engine bay if you wanna put a V6 in there... mounts, tranny, wiring harness, etc
About 1000-1500 i would say.

where could i find the whole svt engine thats not blown or anything i mean like a brand new complete SVT engine maybe even from a focus.... thinking about taking out my 130,000 I4 engine when i get some cash and putting a SVT in its place.
Any idea who would do the engine transfer??

your wasting your money on a svt, first off most have high mileage, next the only difference b/w the stock 2.5 and the svt is only a few hp (different UIM, tb, and pistons) the rest of the rated power comes from the different headers, y pipe, exhaust, and flywheel. If your going to invest the money you might as well purchase a 3.0L and get that installed, it cost about the same, alot easier to find and lower mileage and alot more power.
Also as the focus svt engine you'll never find on since there even more rare, your better of a) turboing your 4 banger b) sell the thing and get a v6 cat (which may or not come w/ a 3L) c) swap in a v6 or d) leave the thing daily driver

If by SVT you mean a Focus SVT motor, check post 11 Here (http://www.newcougar.org/forums/2-0l-zetec-performance/9242-zetec-faq-once-again.html)
Looks like you will have major modifications to be done.

LoL i like how you 2 guys name is almost the same.
Anywho Ryan check Verastar, they have a few yards here in GA where they auction off wrecked cars.. they had a couple SVT Focus's with around 50-70k and the engine still good. but like everyone else says go for the 3.0. i personally want just an SVT 2.5 cause if i got the 3.0 i would wanna boost it. They also had a few escapes and taurus's.
Details (http://www.verastar.com/WebSite/Details.aspx?recid=485320) 03 SVT Focus almost 90k
Details (http://www.verastar.com/WebSite/Details.aspx?recid=50470990) 03 SES Taurus around 30k
Details (http://www.verastar.com/WebSite/Details.aspx?recid=477947) 05 Escape That got rolled engine looks fine and only like 15k miles
The Escape and Taurus are on Cobb Parkway (not far from us at all) though the focus is well in east GA so i dunno. dont think these are for auction yet but just an idea for yah.

^^ Spending 700$ for a svt engine making 165-170whp or spending 500$ for a 3.0L engine and making 190-200whp. Why do you thing people are getting 3L and not SVT.

SVT has a few upgraded parts but it's definitely NOT a 3L. I'd say if you're going to spend the money do the 3L and do it right. Get all the upgraded parts you can. If you ever plan on boosting then you might as well build your tranny at the same time if you have the money because you're going to need it with the boost.

u can find a 3L engine for around 4-500 for it and then if u want the svt parts(uim.tb.lim.cams) better looking on the FS area on here and CEG. they are always floating around for sale. doing the swap is going to be fun. you will need a new tranny possibly since i believe the trans is deifferent from a I4 to a v6 and like everyone else said wire harness and ecu
