I put the rear struts/springs from the Contour in the Cougar on Tuesday and it's sitting considerably higher in the back now  Got rid of all that sag I had going on...

Here's a pic with the steelies, not too much longer before I pull them off in favor of the summer wheels/tires

I'm really just posting because our branch is rather dead as of lately

I'll get some good pictures after I swap the summer wheels back on :) I swapped the front suspension over the weekend and that dropped the front end

So I went from having TERRIBLE butt sag to a pretty aggressive rake

I thought every one wants to lower their car? You are going for a lifted look.

He's lifting the car so that he can put 22" spinners on it.

This is what he wants to do.

It is sitting pretty high, are you going to lower it at all? Or will it look different with the regular stock 16's?

I'm definitely not lowering it, it's my daily driver and I'll take all the ground clearance I can get. It'll look much better with the SVT wheels (I never had the stockers) though.

Really the problem was that the back end of the car had MAJOR sag and the front of the car was insanely high (might've been newer springs). So now with the SVT struts and springs, at least the front is lower than the rear. That way if I haul a lot of crap in the trunk it'll have some room to squat without looking like I have 4 dead hookers in the trunk.

That looks much better! I just put my summer tires on the other day thinking that winter was over. Then, I wake up this morning and it's snowing harder than I think I've ever seen it snow. Why couldn't this have happened in the winter??? We barely got any snow this winter :banghead:

Well don't you feel special

We probably got over 6 inches but luckily most of it melted when it hit the ground so we only ended up with a couple inches (most of which is melting today).
