new to the NECO fam

Hey everybody, im pretty new to NECO. I have an 1999 MTX with WORKING SUN ROOF, wich i have noticed in my time on here is a rare find. I have a good list of mods already including: Full drift kit, Ghost flame paint job(just got dont payin that one off) Speedy rims, Injen SRI, Flowmaster exhaust..no headers yet tho, red interior painted of course, relocated headunit to ashtray location to accomidate flip out monitor, and 7" screen fiberglassed into the airbag cover, slimline PS2 in glovebox, False floor goin in tomorrow, relocated battery, Qlighting HID conversion, push button start. that about sums it up, most of the mods I have learned about on here, but what i was really wondering is that if there are any members near Lakeland Florida or not, Ive already met the member with an orange cougar with blue designs, think his name is cougar crazy or something like that, but he lives in tampa i believe. Anyways, just sayin hey.

miami is a good little drive, but yeah, if there are any florida wide meets, ill deffinately hit that up.

Tampa probably has the most active members in it. Orlando has a good crowd, but they're seldom active. Miami is probably the 2nd most active location.

heh... let us know! lol.. a good number of us don't have cougars anymore (some sold.. others wreched.. like mine. :( )

though if I see you driving around the area, you're likely to get chased by a black 'stang convertable! hahaha

I'd say currently Miami beats Tampa in the active members race.

Welcome to Florida! Sorry it has taken me so long to respond. I'm in the Tampa Bay area, Seminole, and within another week and a half, it'll be Pinellas Park. I'm in the process of moving! :biggrin:

That might be it...he came into besbuy when i was workin and we started talkin about audio setups...and i asked what kind of car he had, and he said 99 Mercury Cougar. So we started talkin, It is orange with a blue and silver design, painted orange headlights, drift kit, a big black wang, similar the the one i used to have(see avatar) Kicker subs and a mmats amp.
