I would be willing to do LED swaps for people if anyone is interested. I don't know what the price will be as of right now. Pretty much you would have to let me know a little in advance, that way I have time to order the LEDS and stuff. I will try and get a spare set of all of the switches so I can do them and then send them to you so you don't have to go without them and then you can send yours when you receive the new ones. Just wondering if anyone would be interested. Later on I may be willing to do Hvac for people too. Not looking to make a lot of money here, just want something to do on my off time and want to help some fellow cougar owners out. Here are some pics of mine.

Is anyone else interested in this? I am going to have extra switches so you tell me the color and I will do them and send you them and then you can send yours back when you swap them back in. Does anyone have any suggestions?

i am interested. can you pm me with a price?

and this might sound dumb but can you drive with all the switches off the car for like a day or two? i know that you would not be able to turn the headlights on and stuff...

I am getting an extra set so you will not have to do that. I will do them and then send them to you and you send yours to me after you get the replacements.

cool i was just thinking to protect you as the seller that i would have to send my switches first... and i have no problem with that, just if i get the replacements in a few days.

i want to do this but it will probably have to be in like week or two.

i will send you a pm when i know what i want to do.

thanks!

edit: blue in color.

alright just let me know what color. Just get ahold of me when you are ready. I should have the extra switches in the next couple weeks, so that may work out perfect. Still debating on whether I will be offering the hvac or not.

i heard the 01-02 hvac is a hell of a lot easier than the 99-00 if that helps

Given the price, i would also be interested in this!
Has anyone every done white LEDs? I've looked but never found anyone with them, it's always Red or Blue.

I would love a set in blue. (All window switches, lock/unlock switches, headlight switch, etc...) Put me down, as soon as you get a set done in blue ship em out to me. :) I'll pm you.

I will be getting this going very shortly. I am thinking 50$ shipped at the moment but that is not a definite price as of yet. Any input from you guys would be greatly appreciated. Any suggestions would also help to better suit your guys needs. Thanks.

i'm having flashbacks to my LED experience. i've got somewhere between 6-7 hundred of them in my car and they all went in at the same time. i felt like a little asian kids assembling electronics in a sweat shop.

he sent me a pm saying he won't be able to do this for over a month so if anyone can do this for us send me a pm

hey brandon i took one of my switches out. (i have all blue LED's) it dont look to hard, im sure we could do it. all we need to get are the led's and resistors.

I was considering doing this myself cuz I got some LEDs and the correct resistors to go from 12V to 3 but I was worried about how hard the switches and stuff are to get out in the first place. Use wide angle LEDs too, like 90 degree or more. I usually shoot for 120 degree cuz I know where to get cheap ones.

btw I can put a compact, aimable CO2 diode laser cannon on your roof for about $300 in parts :D You just need a power mirror motor or two and a CO2 diode and power source that can crank up the volts to what it needs. It's really not that expensive :) And it can pop tires from about 25 feet or more

please don't try it yourself, you'll end up with a neon blue 50 watt household light bulb taped to it with electrical tape and extension cords:rofl:

haha. Hey guys. Sorry it has been a while since I have been on the boards so I want to apologize to everyone for being unable to answer your pms for so long. I will be getting this going fairly shortly for whoever is still interested. I am nearing the end of the semester and have been swamped with work. Electrical Engineering is not an easy course. Lets get a list start of who is interested and what colors you want. I will be doing these in the order of the list.
