So i live in in rural Iowa were the country farmer is king. Today though one found out the hard way about how water is desceptive. I got to school at 7:45 this morning and was sitting there thinking, hey, some of the rednecks aint hear today... where the hell are they? 5 Minutes later i get my answer

I pick up and was like where the hell are you? He's like are you at school and i'm like yeah why? He's like round up a group of guys and go get your dad's truck. I'm like WHAT?!? he's like we tried to plow through a bridge underwater and got stuck and were slowing drifting. So i got in the Dodge and hauled ass there, no cops just a bunch of trucks and about 15 guys looking to help the Redneck in distress.

What blocked the way.

We did get him out, i had to crawl into the river because i had the biggest damn truck there and pushed from behind, 3 other trucks pulled from ahead. Did not manage to get the truck started yet but we'll be dropping the starter for a new one and sucking out the airbox. His parents were pissed.

Only had the truck for a couple of months, it is a '04 F350 with about 18,000 miles on it, bought it for 23,500. Whats next from this group haha.

Reminds me of my mom's side of the family/friends from my hometown... only it seems whenever I'm with them and they get stuck, it's usually 3am and at least half an hour down some dirt road...

You might be a redneck if you think a bridge underwater is a free car wash :P

Still haven't got the truck started yet, i was over there yesterday and we dropped the starter and the new one is suppose to be here tomorrow. Also washed it out from all the salt that was in the river. He's also grounded for 2 weeks ha.

heh thats not too bad... a bunch of my buddies have jeeps/pickup trucks and we go offroading almost every weekend, and almost everytime someone has to get stuck.. this one time my friends dodge ram 1500 got like half sunk in the mud, none of our friends could pull him out cause that thing is really heavy, so he had to wait for his uncle who only got there at like 10am the next morning with some mercedes half-truck thing, i have personally never seen one like that before heh... did pull out the ram no prob. tho =)
